From an idea
to a tangible experience.
I’m Jiří Kunc. Through NIGHTLY BUILD, I create independent installations, interactive objects and light interventions for public spaces and galleries.
NIGHTLY BUILD takes shape at night. It starts with an idea, a little curiosity and the urge to make it real. Not every idea needs to wait for a brief.
I bring together artistic intent, production and hardware. From the first idea through technical design and prototyping to installation on site. I also contribute to solo shows, interactive exhibits and exhibition projects.

About the author
I’m a graduate of the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU).
My professional background includes the Pilsen Philharmonic and Pilsen – European Capital of Culture 2015. I’m the founder of Studio zamlklých mužů.
Alongside my own creative work, I’m involved in Memory of Nations in the Pilsen and Karlovy Vary regions.
